Course Description

The Part 3 program continues to build on both interpersonal skills and widens the view of industry knowledge. With a focus on best practices and execution strategies, we discuss the balancing act of addressing member needs and industry changes that affect us. We explore ways to build leadership skills and the cooperative legacy. This is a full day program recommended for all employees and directors who have participated in Service Excellence Part 2.

Service Excellence Part 3 focuses on: executing change, service scenarios, changing industry, influences and current issues affecting electric co-ops. The course covers:

o   team-building skills

o   conflict resolution skills

o   role play

o   discussing leadership characteristics

o   demonstrating leadership behaviors




*Participation in Service Excellence Part 1: Committing to the Cooperative Advantage & Part 2: The Power of Human Connections is essential in this continued learning environment and we recommend that participants experience the first program prior to participation in this one.


Part 1 will be taught at United Power on April 24, 2017

Part 2 will be taught at United Power on April 25, 2017
